Carla Rachman Is a British/Swiss dual national born in the UK. She took a first degree in English Literature at Cambridge University, followed by a Doctorate in Art History at the Courtauld Institute in London, prior to working as a lecturer for London University, the Tate Gallery, the National Gallery and a number of other institutions including Boston University's London-based program.
In 2002 she opened a Boston University program in Geneva, in partnership with Geneva University and the European Centre for Nuclear Research, providing courses and internships in Public Health, International Law, International Development, and Physics. Over the last two decades, she has developed a strong interest in the fields of Law and Public Health while managing the program and is eager to continue to expand her knowledge in these areas while assisting the work of the Health Law Institute.
