Jacob Braun is a second-year law student at Osgoode Hall Law School in Canada. Before Law School, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and Governance from Ryerson University, where he took an interest in history and international politics. In his upper years at Law School, Jacob intends to focus his studies on the areas of health law, international law, and labour law.
After completing his legal degree, Jacob intends to pursue a graduate program in a health law related field to expand his understanding in this area. As a result of personal medical experiences, Jacob developed his interest to work in health law in order to advocate for healthcare workers and patients. The Health Law Institute is at the forefront of research and advocacy for health workers around the world, which is what drew Jacob to the organization. Jacob firmly believes in the mission of the Health Law Institute and is excited and proud to be a part of an organization filled with dedicated and committed individuals.
