Olivier Dunant
Olivier Dunant advises clients in the areas of corporate law, M&A and corporate governance, as well as commercial law. Olivier’s practice area further covers insolvency and recovery as well as acting as liquidator. Recent assignments include assistance to international groups establishing operations in Switzerland.
He also has a vast experience in employment law and business immigration: from hiring, drafting regulations, incentive plans to forensic work, internal investigations and restructuring.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Olivier was partner with Meyerlustenberger Lachenal, head of the legal services department of Ernst & Young in Geneva (2001-2012). Earlier experience includes work as an associate with internationally oriented business law firms in Zurich and Geneva (1995-2001) as well as law clerk at the Geneva Labour Dispute Court.

He graduated from the University of Geneva (lic. iur., 1990) and New York University School of Law (LL.M., 1995). He was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 1992.

Olivier is a member of the Association genevoise de droit des affaires (AGDA), the Association for insolvency and restructuring (Association LP), the Association of insolvency practitioners (INSOL Europe) as well as of the Ordre des Avocats (OdA) and FSA. He is also a board member of the Association of international business lawyers (AIBL), the Geneva Chamber of Commerce (CCIG) and the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce (Geneva Lake Chapter). Olivier is chairman of the audit committee of CCI France-Suisse.
