Sukhbir Thind is a Canadian lawyer, dedicated to the achievement of human rights through policy evaluation and international law mechanisms. She values a multi-disciplinary approach and believes in evidence-based solutions. She has lived-experiences in India, Canada and Kenya, and currently resides in Switzerland.  The main focus of her work is evaluating national and international sexual and reproductive health and rights policies through an intersectional feminist framework. She is concerned about the lack of awareness and advocacy for the rights of health care workers, especially under the current pandemic, and hopes to contribute positively to this incredible initiative.

 

Sukh holds a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University and a Juris Doctor from Western Law. Sukhbir clerked at the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018.
